Oral Biopsies

Early detection is one of the most important tools in protecting your oral and overall health. Natalia Homyak DDS & Associates performs oral biopsies to evaluate unusual lesions, sores, or tissue changes in the mouth, providing patients with fast, accurate answers.

What Is an Oral Biopsy?

An oral biopsy involves removing a small sample of tissue from the mouth for laboratory analysis. Dr. Natalia Homyak may recommend a biopsy after identifying a lesion, sore, lump, or discolored patch that does not heal within the expected timeframe, in order to determine the underlying cause.
